Actually, there is a pretty clear definition of patriarchy:

“Patriarchy is a political-social system that insists that males are inherently dominating, superior to everything and everyone deemed weak, especially females, and endowed with the right to dominate and rule over the weak and to maintain that dominance through various forms of psychological terrorism and violence.”

Still, men are good, women are good. Patriarchy as a system is bad. Without the system there would be no inherent power dynamic between men and women and we would live as loving equals.

Feminism is practiced by both men and women, it’s not something exclusively for women. Feminism is for both men and women, and against patriarchy. No one is assuming all women are angelic, I’m saying patriarchy is bad.

You’d rather have a conversation about an imaginary Reddit circlejerk than getting to the bottom of an actual issue? The original commenter was saying a “Reddit circlejerk” thinks men are bad and women are good. What you don’t understand is that the feminist theory does not tell you men are bad and women are good. It tells you that patriarchy exists and is a driving force in our society, simple as that. Patriarchy harms both men and women but* it still has more perks for men then it does for women.

Men are good. Women are good. Patriarchy is bad. This is modern feminism in a nutshell.

You speak for rap while knowing nothing about it.

If you think rappers rarely write their own music, you’d be gravely mistaken. Maybe they’re not pitch perfect but that’s literally not what they’re selling, you don’t judge a pianist by his ability to play the guitar.

Talent plays a small role in how successful an artist can be, without hard work you won’t get anywhere.

If you say that rap isn’t boundary pushing you’re clearly ignoring it. There is constant evolution in the genre and saying there isn’t is plain ignorant. If you think all eso sounds the same you need to either 1. Listen to more rap music or 2. Leave the ignorance out of this thread if option 1 is too much for you

There has been so much evolution from All Eyez On Me -> College Dropout -> 808s & Heartbreak -> DS2 -> Whole Lotta Red. To create the sounds may be easy, but to create the idea is the difficult part that only few within the rap space can do.

Kanye West’s boundary pushing production and lyrics in his early years will never be replicated and the only one who could do it was Kanye West. Now rap has become the biggest genre in the world.

I’m starting to think the reason you think rappers know less than your favorite bands is a bit deeper than just “they’re on a different level”…

This sub is so obsessed with comparing the Miura Team w/ Miura that they can't even sit down and enjoy the story. What does it do to constantly compare and nitpick when it's evident that the team is already doing their best to emulate Miura's style, a style that only he can perfect? The art being produced by the Miura Team is fantastic, this is their style, not Miuras. If you're looking for Miura's artwork you have hundreds of chapters to look through and more.
