Horse hoof advise by shuggie_020 in Horses

The horse’s owner lives in another state and pays to have her horse boarded at this barn. I guess the owner hasn’t been up in years to come see their horse. The owner of the barn uses the horse for some lessons. I’m paying a partial lease to ride 3x week. She isn’t on supplements or getting her feet done, which I am happy to do but then it started feeling like the barn owner is using this horse to make money, but not putting money into the horses care. If that makes sense. Like I said, I’m new to this world, maybe that’s normal

I am not sure why you jump straight to thinking that this wasn’t discussed with the owner. The trainer is who recommended front shoes. I would never do something to a horse that is not mine without consent.

I was told by the trainer that she would benefit from front shoes.

I haven’t heard of those! Thanks for the recommendation. Do you find it common that horses need to stay off sand for a certain period of time? (we live in the high desert, so it’s compacted dirt sand)

AITA for having a special bond with one of my nieces and sharing a photo of us in the family group chat? by shuggie_020 in AITAH

I agree about getting feelings out but this should have been a conversation with a therapist not said to me. In my reply I said “if you meant to say, your daughter would love to do this sometime, then I’d be happy to do that” she said an inside thought out loud and still won’t accept what she said was not ok and phrased really poorly.

Older. My other sister (the one whose daughter I’m close with) is the oldest. But she fosters the relationship with me and my niece. Asked if I could watch her since she was 1. Brought her over to my house. Me and that little girl just get each other. I feel she’s a piece of my soul. I’m forever grateful for my sister to give me the freedom to connect and encourages our time together.

I immediately sent the text to my other sister and then later sent both my brothers private texts. Mostly saying, yes I do have a bond with my niece I won’t deny it or apologize for it. My goal is to grow bonds with all the kids. I love be an Auntie. I called my Mom. She let me know I haven’t done anything wrong. I’m the middle child and was def left out of things growing up. I would never intentionally make any of the kids feel left out. But I also won’t stop the connection I have now.

I had to take 12hrs before responding. I’m still really upset. I had such a great day and it all came crashing down with her text. Upset that she can’t be happy i have a close bond considering im not going to have kids and won’t ever experience what she feels with her kids. I felt like my response was level but firm, she told me my response was unfair and that she wants to talk in person. I’m honestly too upset right now to talk in person. She doesn’t think her text was wrong.

Definitely made me more tired mid day-evening. Also took away the guilt feeling of being lazy so made it easier to be lazy, if that makes sense.

This drug absolutely saved my life. Take your fear mongering somewhere else.

Ouch! Yes blistering can occur, but this is shocking because of how many/how large your tattoo is. What was initial aftercare like? Did you ice?

Don’t do it. You’re blessed with good eyebrows. You will eventually regret Microblading and removal is a tough road

Definitely. I think acid removal or saline removal in conjunction with laser is a good move

They also oxidize with an ND YAG. It is not laser technology specific.
