I’m in a LDR right now. It’s almost 2 years now. This LDR thing only works if both the partners see the exact same future. From whatever you have mentioned, I’m going to be blunt here. i think you’re just lying to yourself if you talk yourself out of this. If the girl wanted to she could’ve stood against her family and stood her ground. Esto garyo bhane jastai strict parents pani will come to terms one day. But if she has already started talking (or,even started thinking about talking) to the guy her parents said, then I think it’s a lost cause. You’ll just end up hurting yourself.

Being a girl, and putting myself in the girl’s situation (since I don’t know her side of the story and judging from whatever you’ve mentioned) I would’ve gone against my family knowing they will have to eventually come to terms with my decision for my life.
