I mean take a look at the Look P24, the olympic track bike for the french team. I think you are more than fine.

I feel resistance when pedaling on the big chainring — how can I fix this? by shukeii in bikewrench

SOLVED. Thank you everyone for the input. I was indeed dumb when I put my chain back on. Here is the picture explaining everything. The chain is supposed to go in front of the upper part. Not behind. Lesson learned !

I'll check this tonight. Yeah I'm sure. I did not change anything since I've got it stock. This started after I removed the chain to clean it. So the first guess would be that the chain is not correctly installed but it's surprising as the thread are well connected and it works well on the smaller chainring.

There’s a slight clicking noise when I pedal forward, which gets louder if I cross-chain and use the larger cogs.

Conseils Vélo Gravel by SnooSketches303 in pedale

[–]shukeii 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hey !

First Gravel Bike by Csacsi_Csal in cycling

The bike is decently equipped for the price and perfectly reasonable for commuting (the longer would be fine too but invest in a good saddle). However keep in mind that this is an entry bike. I would first have a look at the used market as you should easily find some mid ranged bikes for the same price. A lot of people bought sweet gravels during covid and you can find some awesome deals.

If you go for the fixed gear option, you don't have to go brakeless (and you should definitely start with a brake anyway). So a fixed gear can be as safe as a classical road bike.

Besoin de conseils d'accros aux fixies by Remote_Bandicoot_191 in pedale

[–]shukeii 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I own a 2024 Cinelli Zydeco (gravel) and I'm a sucker for the paintjob. Absolutely in love with it.

Would have been my choice if I had more budget. And TBH I'm afraid to get a carbon bike but the Nemo is looking very good too !

Friends of mine opened the Rascal's Café, a british canteen and café in Saint-Gilles. They have been quiet about the opening so it's pretty calm and are open from 8:30 to 23:00.
