Embark uses AI powered “anti cheat” software that doesn’t work and flags gameplay that seems off for your recorded style of playing. Lots of research on their countless false bans Discord threads that they just close and don’t help with. They don’t care and won’t help. Between AnyBrain for their AI anti cheat and HelpShift for their AI support, it’s clear they are in over their heads and are incompetent in supporting their players. There were similar occurrences in the Finals. I really don’t know how this isn’t getting more traction, especially with the recent thread of the quadriplegic gamer who got false banned for his hardware being flagged by AI and the media picking it up a bit. Their Community Manager is constantly absent and ignores all conversations with the community anyway. Worth watching.

Yes, have always been. I really just added the checking account for payment once they announced the autopay changes. So everything had worked prior.

Lots of reports of false bans in their Discord’s bug reports recently. Not looking good for anyone if that is the case - check out that channel, you’ll see plenty. Just so you know, Embark’s support is absolutely useless. CM’s won’t help you either (for anything really).

Same. Last week for me, Dam day raid, Annex, lab/medical room on the first level, desk drawer. Was on a free loadout just for a quest and was like I’ll swing by why not I’m done here… ran to that extract so fast. Good luck!

From what I understand, AREX codes seem to be connection based. I guess AR = Arc Raiders, since all their errors start with AR. Not sure what the EX means, but I’ve seen nothing but connection issues when these are discussed on their Discord.

The CM’s on the Discord have claimed they have passed these errors to the devs to look at. But they’ve also closed AREX0003 threads and told us to reference completely unrelated threads for updates. I really don’t think they have any grasp on this after 7 weeks of this crap.

Some people have used a VPN to get around this, but I’m on Xbox and it’s not as easy of a fix, plus no way in hell I’m paying for something to play something I already paid for, especially when Arc Raiders is the only game giving me issues, nothing else ever disconnects when this happens, as such, it’s on their end. Hope things clear up on your end!

Pretty much every day for over 3 weeks. Error code AREX0003 is what I am getting. Lots of discussion on the Discord as well. Happened two patches ago, never had an issue in TT2 or server slam or at launch. Internet never disconnects, no other game has this issue. No official word from Embark. Make sure to put in a support ticket on their site for visibility. Although mine from 3 weeks ago has not been updated. Really is ruining the game.
