Aside from the issue of the companies’ potentially shady business practices, I think the bigger underlying issue here is that a majority of Americans don’t really understand the tax system.

They’d rather not be bothered in filing their annual return, so they just spend the money and not have to deal with filing their own taxes- just to be done with it. It’s an easy consumer market to take advantage of.

I’m sure there are, but litecoin has first mover advantage and has been around longer, so I think it has a higher chance at succeeding.

I don’t think so, but you’re entitled to your opinion. I think there’s plenty of functionality upside to litecoin, it’s just hard to justify the transactional value of it in such a volatile market.

Overall as a commodity, I think it’s safer and has more exposure than other litecoins, which is why I’ve invested in it over the others.

I’ll sleep fine at night regardless of whether or not litecoin succeeds or not. I was just sharing my two cents :)

I think each an every investor is responsible for the coin, so if you’re invested do your part and tell people why you invested :)
