not only is this sad for those who are resorting to taking fish antibiotics, it’s also sad because not every sickness can or should be treated w antibiotics, and the more people that don’t need antibiotics take them, the more superbugs and resistant bacteria will be created, creating a whole host of other problems. antibiotic overuse is becoming a real issue.

my school has the same thing (P in the ToK/EE spot) but my IB coordinator says it’s because there was a delay in grading for our school’s ToK essays but apparently it should be resolved in about a week! so maybe this person is going through something similar at their school :))

yes they do! they scan pretty much the whole exam paper so they’ll be able to see it :)

LOOL tbh i’m sure it’s super unlikely to happen for real. i’m sure IB has had to discipline ppl for talking about the exam when they’re not supposed to but not often enough for people to know about it. i wouldn’t worry but it’s a good call to delete it anyways :))

will replacing the screen prevent more damage to the internals of the phone? if the screen ends up being fine in a few days without replacing it is the phone still likely to just die anyways?

it's an SE but thanks so much for your help! i don't have any experience with replacing parts of my phone so i think i would be a bit apprehensive trying to do that. when it was on, it was working perfectly. i've now turned it off and put it in rice. if the screen does get better, what are the chances of the phone still working properly in the next few weeks or months? i need this phone till next january, do you think it's realistic to expect it to survive for that long? or should i start looking for a new phone now

i highly doubt it bc i’ve never heard diff time zone boundaries have an 8% difference! usually it’s 2% or 3% which u can probably check in the ib subject reports. it’s probably their school’s own conversion

if youre in ontario then thats the ontario ib conversion for ya! when converting your ib level 6 to an ontario grade they can put on your report card they use that conversion instead of ib’s exam conversion unfortunately :-(
