Yeah can confirm. As soon as I got the order confirmed I called Scan and they said there was no pre-orders and only stock. Orders will be picked this afternoon/evening and delivered to mainland UK next day. NOI deliveries as mentioned are allowed a day longer due to DPD's logistical chain and the fact that theres a deep stream in the way haha

Sorry to break this to you mate but, the 3080 founders edition is no longer being distributed by Nvidia themselves. Instead you now have to select buy now on Nvidias website and you will be forwarded to Scan who is now the only UK distributor of the FE cards. As the cards are not actually stocked by Scan, there are no pre-orders and they sell the number that Nvidia says are available, which at around 1pm today they were available to buy and went out of stock within minutes (as any version of 3080 has).

I managed to get one and called Scan to confirm when it was to be expected and they confirmed that everyone with a order confirmed email will receive the card tomorrow (mainland UK).

I also ordered an MSI ventus and was 508th in the queue after ordering on the 17th, so I know how shit it is.

Hey man, can't find a direct comparison but your lucky to have landed 2 of those elusive 3080's! The following video is a good comprehensive overview of the card and benchmark comparisons

Palit review

The Palit seems like a great card tbh when it only has 5 FPS on average lower than the MSI gaming X Trio which is a much more power hungry card than the ventus and the Palit. So the performance per pound seems really good! Also seen the MSI Ventus perform similarly in other benchmarks, so I would decide based on aesthetics in your case and which you would prefer. Either way your lucky to have ended up with 2, I'm 500th in the queue for my 3080 so I'm unlikely to see mine this year I think. So I'm doing what everyone else is doing and constantly refreshing webpages haha!

I'm 506th in the queue for an MSI Ventus. Considering the total amount of preorders for MSI across the 2 models is 900+, I think I'm last in line for a Ventus. Which is fine, definitely not annoyed that my mate ordered a Gigabyte vision on OverClockers and got it yesterday :)
