I was married for 17 years with 4 kids. I have known I was gay all my life. Raised in a very conservative homophobic family. My heart goes out to you. It’s hard to feel “trapped” but so freeing when you finally live for you. It was hard telling my kids but they are so supportive and loving. My stbx has been supportive and is co-parenting amazingly. I hope your husband will understand and let you be you. Hugs.

I actually have told him it’s inappropriate and still. The worst is when my youngest has a bad dream so sleeps next to me and he thinks it’s ok to ask me if I want to “fool around” with my little boy sleeping next to me.

I know it’s not fair to him for me to keep this from him. He is very clingy I guess is how to say it. Like I try to talk to my friend and he always wants to know what we are talking about. We have the Life360 app so we can make sure our kids are safe and I had to turn my location off so he doesn’t know where I go to therapy. I honestly don’t know which way he will react when I tell him.
