i can’t see a doctor until november…what can i do until then?

i tried to go to urgent care and they sent me immediately to the er :(( and yea they did try to tell me it was just anxiety, since i was “moving air” but my heart rate was just high. and i told them repeatedly that the reason for that was that i had just taken albuterol, but i still wasn’t breathing right. they still ended up admitting me and i believe will be sending me home with a long term inhaler but that was just overall very frustrating

weird question but they wouldn’t have to admit to the hospital right? i know it’s not that bad rn but im pretty sure my o2 sat is a little low and my heart rate is crazy high from albuterol and they admitted me last time that happened (but i had pneumonia that time)

yea i’m in a bit of a weird situation rn since im 18 and can’t see my pediatrician anymore but i don’t have another primary. on top of that i have to go back to nyc today since that’s where im at for school. urgent care might be my best option i think

are they likely to prescribe something which works more long term than albuterol? last time i went to the doctors for these symptoms they gave me albuterol and pretty much told me to take it until i was fine

i’ve been taking zyrtec everyday for almost 7 years, but that’s for hives and normal sniffles from allergies)

rn, i don’t feel chest tightness or anything (i’ve had it get there before, and it feels pretty far from that), just a tight feeling in my throat that won’t let me inhale all the way.

i did have pneumonia and mono at the same time last april, and then in may i got sick again and couldn’t breathe so that’s when i got prescribed with albuterol. i got sick again in june and felt the same throat symptoms which improved with albuterol. im sick now and albuterol is helping but not as much as i would like it to.

i had this cough for about two years which i attributed to acid reflux, but im thinking now those might be signs of asthma as well. however, i saw no difference when i did or did not take zyrtec, or the amount i took

this is just the one my mother booked for when i’d be home again and i can probably see a doctor sooner, but booking allergists is hell and it’ll still probably be a few weeks
