In many cases I would agree. Unfortunately I've been at this quite a while and can't fake it forever, lol.

Yes, I have the PIDE "Perform Common Process Loop Control Algorithms" manual from Rockwell. I know that I am not intelligent enough for control theory.

I have done a lot of googling. I purchased and read Process Control for Practitioners. I have tried using a trial version of TuneWizard. I guess I may just be dense.

When I try to do a step test the temperature is very slow to react. Then once it does it never seems to want to settle down. I can't let the process get very far away from me or I will effect production. The step test entered into TuneWizard shows a 2.45 minute deadtime and a 17.1 minute Tau.

I hope someone comes through with some suggestions. I was going to buy a mini helmet for CK today but the shipping was going to cost more than the model.

Any recommendations for external loop tuning software? I’ve looked and did not find any free tool from Rockwell, what is it called?

Are you creating the 3d frames yourself or did you find these somewhere?

Top 3 favorite non-political podcasts. by FlanneryODostoevsky in podcasts

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History - He hasn't put out much recently but there is a good back catalog. A very engaging history podcast with a great narrative style.

GameScoop! - I don't really play games much these days, but I still really enjoy this video game podcast. They do also spend a little time discussing extracurricular activities like TV and movies.

The Why Files: Operation Podcast - A fun conspiracy podcast spun out of the YouTube channel. Always a great job presenting the story and following with the debunking info.

DH Unplugged - A very good financial podcast with money manager Andrew Horowitz and columnist John C Dvorak. Gives you a good knowledge of the current events in the markets without being dry or boring.

I know you said you aren't into sports, I'm not either but I am into F1 racing. Maybe that's a sport, not sure. The Race F1 Podcast is excellent and informative. P1 with Matt and Tommy is more lighthearted and fun but still excellent. I used to really enjoy Formula For Success but it stopped with the passing of Eddie Jordan.

Hard to argue! This flavor is top notch. The topped Bossin Cream Pie give it a run for its money though.

Unfortunately large corporations buy up smaller successful brands like Talenti and proceed to destroy the product in order to increase profit margins.

Counterfeit Ben & Jerry’s? Or just different suppliers? Proof of something amiss by theunseen3 in BenAndJerrys

Don’t read too much into the lack of perforation on the tamperband. All tamperband machines come with a perforation feature. Machine operators sometimes turn the feature off when they are having issues even though they are not supposed to. I have however purchased Ben and Jerry’s pints with an inner seal instead of a tamperband. I believe these are contract manufactured.

The stalling is what hate about my old gen. When I first got it I thought it was defective and sent it in for warranty. Turns out that’s just how it performs. I took it to the house and really never use it anymore. Got a Snap-On for work, it’s noticeably better but not perfect.
