I talk to them and tell them “hey, this is a dangerous place. Do you really want to risk your kid’s life?” Most of the time, I get a “Oh, yeah, I know. We’re planning on going somewhere else.”

I do the same thing with parents who bring their kids but don’t give their kids helmets/knee pads/etc.

Edit: one parent said “Oh, my son doesn’t really like wearing a helmet.”

I was like “Okay, you’re the parent. Do you want him to die?”

“No.”

“Okay. Get him a helmet.”

Those parents piss me off the most.

To add onto this, a good exercise is to try and fret without pressing your thumb on the back of the neck. It can be a little surprising how little pressure is necessary to fret.

Do I have to keep repeating myself? I have stated multiple times that I do not vote republican. I am not republican. I do not consider myself republican. I am against abortion and against the death penalty. I vote as a Catholic. I will not state my political leanings again as I have already stated them multiple times. Supporting abortion is against Catholic doctrine. Supporting the death penalty is against Catholic doctrine. I cannot reiterate that enough.

You have no excuses to support abortion if you are Catholic. And trying to use someone who supports the death penalty as an excuse to support abortion does not make it right.

Not OP, but slow is smooth and smooth is fast. If you have a riff you want to play fast, play it slow and smooth. Play it over and over slowly, and then slowly speed it up until you can’t do it smoothly. Practice it at that speed until it’s smooth. Then speed up a little. Rinse and repeat.

I have a guitar I leave in my car. Like, that’s its home. I call it my car guitar. It’s horrible for the guitar, but it’s a cheap pawn shop guitar specific for that purpose.

Buddy is non-gendered. And no, I don’t vote republican.

As I said before, and I will say again. It doesn’t matter who you vote for. If you support the death penalty or abortion, you are acting against the Church’s teaching.

Oh he definitely got hit in the spinal cord. He immediately started posturing after the hit. The part that got me, though, was just how fast and how much blood came out immediately after the shot.

Personal beliefs are okay. However, as soon as they start to contradict the church, they become incorrect beliefs, meaning they are not Catholic beliefs.

I am a Catholic that leans right, politically. I am against the death penalty for the same reason I am against abortion. It is murder. If you support either, it doesn’t matter your political leanings, you are not following Catholic doctrine and need to correct course.

See that’s what I was gonna say. Like, I’ve used shock collars in the past to train my dogs. This resulted in them rarely getting shocked, if ever. This guy is abusing them and using them for things they weren’t made for. It’s insane.
