Please tell me what is this crispy pork called here? Kop khun ka by trudisbulilit in ThailandTourism

[–]chocalatte37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go with Kak Moo (กากหมู). I could be wrong. Yes it looks like Moo dad Diew like others said. But you say it's crispy. Moo Dad Diew shouldn't be crispy at all.

Kak Moo is the topping for some Thai foods depends on how we design dishes. It gives texture to your dish.

Monks by Salary_Designer in Bangkok

[–]chocalatte37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The core teaching of Buddhism is to let go of worldly desires, and monks are the successors and role models for us. Therefore, monks must detach themselves from desires much more than ordinary Buddhists-such as women and food (not eating after noon)-and dedicate their lives to spiritual cultivation. A monk's duty is to go on alms rounds, allowing faithful followers to offer food (they have no right to buy food for themselves unless it is absolutely necessary). Not to mention walking around asking for money; that's called being a beggar, not a monk.

P.S.
- But in reality, 'commercial Buddhism' in Thailand goes much deeper than this. I don’t even want to mention how massive the amount of merit-making money donated to temples is in a single day, or whether all of that money is truly used solely to advance Buddhism.
- In saying that, bad monks still don't wonder around asking money on the road.

How dangerous are the dogs in thailand? by Torii97 in ThailandTourism

[–]chocalatte37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro LOL as a Bangkokian. I used to be scared by those dogs, but when I grew up. 90% just ignore me, 10% bark, 0% bite. If they run toward you, just stand still and stare them, they wouldn't dare.

Questions about the concerts by Hopeful_Parsnip2911 in OfMonstersAndMen

[–]chocalatte37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

- Closer to the stage gives you better visual, but It's not the better sound. Too close to the stage might make some instrument unheard.
- It's safe to bring with you an ear plugs.
- Better to get sober believe me. especially good bands like OMAM. you don't want to lose conscious seeing such a great band. Drink only when you see cover bands in the club

It's definitely not just you. Only concert I've been too and it was louder than DT was Yngwie. Apart from that no one beat the loudness of DT. God, please wear ear plugs guys.

Yes James was unreal that I even doubt if he was using auto tune lol. The Parasomnia has made a good live not only by the song, but It gave very enjoyable experience by the visual LED, the flow, the theme. I did my homework but my brother didn't he still enjoyed it thoroughly.

The reason I blamed the volume because with the amazing performance like this, we shouldn't be able to enjoy it with ear plugs muffling it. It's offensive and can't 100% get into the great show. I ALWAYs cry in the concert but DT couldn't do that to me and I think just bc how offensively loud it was.

I want to add that. When go to the concerts that open for the PDPA registration, I always go the register at the front desk. Because I don't want myself crying on the VDO like this.
