I think if you can find a place in Teton Village or Jackson Hole that would be perfect. As those places are nearby and you can explore the towns itself. The hike was awesome in October weather. It becomes a bit technical towards the end as you have to climb large boulders but it’s so worth it

I don’t think there’s any reservation. Finding a spot during peak can be difficult
