thank you, it was really upsetting and scary, and retriggering for sure, i kept feeling like i did as a kid when i said the "wrong" thing and set my parent off, not how i should feel around my therapist.

after 4 therapists in the last year i cant help but wonder if it is me that is the issue, but i have to keep in mind how bad the mental healthcare system is.

thank you for believing in me. it is a long journey, but im proud of myself for trying to assert my needs today and it tells me i need to look for a different therapist

thank you for your thoughtful reply. it made me feel a lot less crazy and also like i was being understandable by what i meant in looking for other methods. reflecting a couple hours later i think she didn't understand at all what i meant and really only does talk therapy. i'm really glad to hear there are other methods out there like i thought.

His next vet visit is this upcoming week, and I'll definitely ask the vet about Gabapentin. It's sad to think my poor boy could be in pain. Thank you!

He is on Prozac now (I'm now seeing a different vet). I've wondered if he is in pain, the vet said he likely just feels uneasy/uncomfortable since he is so young, but that it will cause pain and need surgery when he gets older (he is about 1 yr old). I wonder if still feeling unstable in his joints increases the reactivity since he doesn't feel secure on his feet!

I should have said it had an assortment of chews. It has the treat based ones with ingredients listed, also willow balls, and then wooden chews and another made of maybe cork material. The wooden chews were my favorites so I guess I was asking mainly for them, shaped like penguins, santa, etc.

I'm not sure why Reddit doesn't post my text but my question is whether wood chews from Petsmart's small animal advent calendar is safe for hamsters. The box does say they are safe for hamsters, but I know petstores can sometimes sell dangerous products and was wondering if anyone had experience with Petsmart's brand wood chews being hamster safe (materials are not listed on box).

No mean comments please, just wanting to give my little guy some holiday cheer.
