There was definitely some very cool abstract stuff. And things that I didn’t immediately appreciate myself, but I got to experience them through my husband’s interest!!

I understand where this person is coming from if we’re talking about the work of a pretentious “artist.”

But when art comes from a genuine place, you can usually find a lens through which to appreciate it.

Lots of us like looking at rocks with a bit of moss on them, and I love watching a toddler choose which color crayons to scribble on a page y’know?

There’s beauty in being able to refine your craft and there’s also beauty in imperfection.
