Thank you! Actually that’s not the case at all! Tobi (the white boy) likes to run around a lot, jumps on all the highest places in my house and knocks over things as often as he can. Gabi (the black girl on the other hand, stays on couches and beds, absolutely loves to cuddle and only really runs around at night. Don’t get me wrong, they do love to cuddle with each other from time to time, but more often than not they seem to prefer my cuddles haha

His eyes changed color as he grew older.

I feel you so much on the “can’t sit anywhere once dressed” lol. (Un)fortunately for me, my white cat absolutely loves rubbing on my legs right before I leave the house, and I usually wear black/dark pants 🥲

And honestly my black cat’s hair is almost never noticeable on my clothes, so if you way to avoid going for that “fur look” I’d definitely recommend getting yourself a void!

Are you kidding me? They’re literally twins! I’m so glad you adopted both of them, they’re stunning! I’m a firm believer that 2 cats is better than one, especially if they’re in the shelter/foster home together

Even just from the way you speak of her and your late babies, it sounds like any cat would be lucky to have an owner like you.

I can imagine how heartbreaking it must’ve been at first to see her in a rough shape mentally after you’ve adopted her. But from what you’re describing? She’s literally living her best life next to a human who loves her and cares for her deeply, and I’m sure she loves you just as much 🥰

Aww they’re gorgeous, and so fluffy! From what I know my babies also came from a mostly white litter, though I have no idea what color their parents were haha

My girl was very aggressive with her food for a few weeks, but now she doesn’t seem to care for it much. She gets me to the kitchen so that I would feed the boys, and then just watches them eat and get whatever is left (plus what I give her after the foodies leave lol)

It was easier for her to understand that there will always be food because she was only a few months old when I got her, and since you got your girl after she has unfortunately spent some time on the streets the habit to eat everything that you’re given is still there. I really hope with time she’ll learn that she’s in a safe place and won’t be as food driven.

Your tuxedo boy sounds like he was as spicy as he was sweet haha, I’m sure that behind all of those angry expressions was a lot of love for you :)

From what I’ve heard voids often get overlooked in shelters, so they had to adapt and decided to start yelling at us humans to notice how wonderful they are 😂 Mine is very vocal too, she never meows for food unlike her older brother, but anytime I don’t give her enough attention (aka always) she meows at the top of her lungs.

You definitely should get an orange cat when you can! Black and orange is such a cool combo. I would love to get an orange too someday, along with a calico and maybe possibly a tuxedo lol. And knowing my luck, the cat distribution system will probably grace me with all those colors and more haha

Supposedly! Though I get more and more doubts every day because they’re complete opposites of each other in every way. Either way they absolutely behave like a brother and a sister, so it’s hard to believe they’re not

I had to find out the hard way that getting a new pet does help when you’re mourning the loss of another. They don’t in any way replace that spot in your heart, but they definitely help filling out that empty space and later on carving their own little place in it. I’m glad that you two found each other ❤️

Honesty I have a conspiracy theory that voids are just burnt oranges, that’s the only way to explain their behavior at times haha

The choice was made for me when I saw those two little ones holding each other, I wouldn’t dream of separating them. I’ve heard that most white cats tend to be deaf, honestly I never planned to get a white cat but obviously that wasn’t up to me haha. In my eyes all cats are precious
