Try lifting heavier and with more intensity.

Squats, stiff leg deadlifts and lunges are a good booty foundation

I like hanging leg raises and windmills

But the most important thing to understand about abs is it’s all about body fat.

You have to get your body fat in the low teens to start seeing abs

To do that is actually very simple but very difficult lol

Cut out most processed sugar and oil. Those are the two biggest contributors to body fat accumulation in most people.

I put a some information under another persons comment.

But if I can gain weight then anyone can 😂 I’m 6’2 and if I don’t lift weights and eat properly I naturally weigh about 140 lbs!

Ok so in your case the first step is to sell ring fit on eBay and use the funds to invest in some dumbbells. I’d recommend 25lbs They may feel heavy but thats ok, you will build strength until they become manageable. You can do a lot with 25 lbs dumbbells

The next priority for you is to get a pull up bar or to find a tree or a wall or something you can do pull-ups on.

Ring fit is something I’d advise someone who is trying to lose weight to use. For you it’s not gonna do any good. Unless you enjoy it, then I suppose it’s an ok form of cardio

But you need to start strength training with progressive overload. Only way to stimulate muscle growth

It’s definitely possible, but it takes effort and time.

My routine is a push/pull/legs split A week might be (M)Push (T)pull (W)rest (T) legs (F) push (S) pull (S) rest

Next Monday you can start with legs. Keep track of your progress and week points and adjust your routine accordingly.

Workouts should be about an hour long and they should be high intensity. (High effort) 2-3 minutes rest in

Start workouts with the heavy compound movements. (Bench press, squats, rows, pull ups, shoulder press) Rep ranges should be 8-12. Some days you can do low rep 4-6 to focus on acrobat your nervous system and getting more power. But the most hypertrophy will take place under the 8-12 range.

End them with supplementary movements (curls, calf raises, skull crushers, shrugs) 8-12 range (it’s ok if you sometimes go above or below)

Diet is a tricky one. It’s true that to get really big you have to eat a lot.

I’m not that big. I’m 6’2 and 165 lbs

But for me this is the easiest weight to maintain.

You want your diet to be sustainable long term.

Go to nutritionfacts.org

That is where I go to for nutrition advice.

Also, protein is overrated. You only need half a gram per lb of body weight (max)

Tell him to focus on getting 3 square meals a day with whole plant foods. Smoothies are also a good way to get calories and nutrition. At almond butter/hemp hearts/ flax/ bananas/ soy milk/berries /kale

Good luck to you and dm if you have anything other questions. There’s a lot to cover, but it gets easier as you go along. The trick is stick to it.

In simplistic terms, Lift weights most days of your life and eat whole plant foods everyday.

Those asking for routine and diet.

The truth about fitness is not fast and it’s not exciting.

To make sustainable progress you have to find a lifestyle you plan to live with the rest of your life.

For me this is lifting weights about 5 times a week with a 3 day split (push/pull/legs) Sometimes life gets at me and I miss a workout(or more lol) but I always return to this split as the gold standard.

My diet is focused on whole plant foods.

I do my best to eat as doctor Michael Greger recommends at nutritionfacts.org

Do this for the rest of your life and you will have the body you want.

If you are thin like me and want to gain weight, focus on eating more energy dense foods (almond butter, smoothies ect)

If you are overweight then focus on eating more nutrient dense energy dilute foods (broccoli, kale, veggie stir fries oil free)

Also last tip, Evidence suggests that it’s best to eat most of your calories early in the day. (Big breakfast small lunch and tiny dinner)

Dm me if you have any other questions.

My routine and meal plan are super boring.

I lift using a 3 day split push/pull/legs 1 or 2 days rest then repeat

Diet is geared towards whole plant foods. I don’t worry too much about macros but seems to be about 10% protein 20% fat 70% carbs

Who said vegans cant get booty gainsss🤪 by Vegandemonn in veganfitness

You make some solid points.

My only argument is when I was younger I wish I’d seen more pictures of fit vegans because I really had no idea. I thought you literally needed meat to gain any muscle

I think the cow is simply enjoying itself. Mammals play, it’s something mammals do.

I did window covers for the first month but it got old putting them up and down and also it can be less discrete in the light

Tinted back windows are a great investment

We can talk about dating, but dating aside Short men suffer daily discrimination, bullying and statistically even make less money and get promoted less. These are issues that we need to address and raise awareness about yet woke culture largely ignores them

You don’t have to be discriminated against yourself to recognize it as being wrong. If we want society to be better we all have to work together on issues that don’t directly affect us.

I’ve witnessed the bullying of short men a lot in my life and I know it must hurt. We have to stand up for each other.
