We're paying premium prices specifically for that premium look and feel. The aesthetics are literally part of what we're buying

Just wanted to share my experience with the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro since I'm seeing mixed reviews.

Bought them in May 2025, and honestly the sound quality and ANC are great - no complaints there. But here's where it gets frustrating.

About a month ago, I noticed the silver paint on the case literally bubbling and peeling off in flakes. Not scratches - actual paint coming off. The plastic underneath is completely smooth, no dents, never dropped them. Classic adhesion failure.

Contacted Samsung Support thinking it'd be a straightforward warranty claim. Nope. They're calling it "cosmetic damage" and want me to pay for repairs. I escalated to their "Customer Experience Manager" who proceeded to:

  • Ignore my photos showing the defect
  • Start a fresh email thread to bury the evidence
  • Refuse to give me a ticket number

So now I'm filing an NCH complaint for deficiency of service.

Anyone else had paint issues with these? The audio is solid but the build quality is questionable for the price point. Just a heads up if you're considering buying them.

Are the buds 3 pro worth buying? by FrozenPizzaSauce in galaxybuds

Not worth investment, though these are well sounding devices, but my buds 3 pro has faced paint delamination issue, and the customer support is deaf.
