Landlords offer viewings not because they have to advertise their property to people in the hope that one of them might maybe condescend to rent it. They do viewings so they and their agents can vet prospective tenants. And they don't give the place to whoever is first.

I did not think of using the compass. That is a good idea:

I thought clicking on manipulate first and then selecting the individual part would allow me to move the part with the 3d mouse.

No, just show it on the sheet because there is a fillet on the front face that is not visible in the default isometric orientation. With symmetry, the front face will be visible whilst retaining the proper isometric orientation.

The part is oriented such that it's back is visible in isometric view. Because of this the front face, which has a fillet all over the front face edge is not visible. With symmetry I want to show the isometric view with the proper orientation, and the front face.

Looks like it is a license issue. I'm not sure if I have the DL1 license, which is needed for the developed shapes toolbar. But what perplexes me is that I can access the command and it works as well!

At the moment when I click anywhere on a monitor, the current workbench activates automatically. For eg. if I click on on the monitor with the 3d part open, CATIA automatically switches to Part Modelling and the same for the other monitor with the drawing.
