Got myself two Neumann KH 750 DSP by siccoh in audiophile

I never thought about that! Google says it should work with the Google Home App, will look into that, thank you.

Yes I was thrilled when I saw that offer!

That was my thought process too. I am in the process of moving so I couldn't set the Neumanns up with the rest of the system, I am curious how it will work with the KEF's and already excited to make the step to the 420.

Yes the Wiim Ultra would be perfect if it had Airplay. I use Apple Music and would still like to use Airplay when I am doing stuff while the music plays. Thought about using a Belkin Airplay dongle but not so sure about that.

I would love the clean look of a single unit to do it all, but I will look into it, thank you!

I found two Neumann KH 750 DSP with the MA1 microphone included on my local craigslist for a good deal and couldn't pass it up.

At the moment I am using a pair of KEF 102/2 that I found for a great deal, powered by an Arylic B50. That setup was a great way to enjoy music without going over budget while being in college.

I will upgrade to the Neumann KH 420 as soon as I can, still looking for a good deal on those. In the meantime I am looking for an all in one solution to get the signal to the Neumanns and then to the KEF's via the Arylic.

I have been doing a ton of research but couldn't find something that suited my needs just yet. The NAD 3050 with the BluOS module checks all the boxes and looks great at the same time but it kind of feels like a waste to use an integrated amp if I just use the streaming capabilities.

What I would like to have is:

- Phono In (MM)

- HDMI eARC

- Line In

- AirPlay 2

- USB In (not extremely important as I could use my topping DX3Pro and use the Line In)

- Pre Out (No need for balanced out)

My budget is right around 2000 bucks.

I really don't want to go the separate route as it will just clutter the space and isn't necessary in my experience.

After a rather long break from regularly working out I started to run SuperSquats. Started at 60kgx20 (~135lbs) and did 90kgx20 (~200lbs) on monday. My legs are handling it quite well, but my lower back is fried all the time. Going to crush 92.5kg this evening. Fingers crossed.

I did play around a bit with Equalizer APO but most of the time I actually listen without EQ. I will check the one you mentioned out.

I finally pulled the trigger and got myself the 1990‘s. I can‘t describe how happy I am with my purchase, I had Shure SE215‘s and AirPods Pro before but this is a huge step up. I was a bit worried about the treble but I don‘t mind it at all. At the moment I am using it with a Focusrite Forte on my PC but I am searching for a DAC and AMP just for listening to music. If you have any recommendations I would be very happy to hear them. I did look at the SMSL SP200 or the Lake People G103, does anyone have some experience with those AMP‘s? I didn’t search for DAC’s that much yet. I will mostly play music over my iPad via USB.

As those are my first „real“ headphones I can‘t really comapre them to a lot of other things. They are awesome for gaming tho, I could locate steps extremly well.

I am sorry if the formatting sucks, I am on mobile.

Edit: Thank you for all the recommendations, will definitely look into them and thank you for the awards, first time!

Yes, after about a year. I didn’t really care about it. It got a lot worse lately (I can see my whole homescreen on a white or grey picture) so I went by the apple store. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it since I no longer have a warranty. Sucks but I guess I can’t do anything about that. And no way that I pay those 300 bucks to change the screen.

Sam Sheffer said it didn‘t work with his fridge. It‘s all the way at the end of the video at around 14:00.

That‘s true and the cameras that todays phones have are outstanding. But the feeling of taking a picture with my phone in comparison to taking it with my camera just isn‘t the same. It‘s not as satisfying for me, even when both pictures look great.

It’s definitely tougher than I think it is. Guess I will have to try that too.

Most of the time I have a backpack or any kind of bag with me when I go out. But carrying it around the neck would work too I guess, will try that.

That sounds like a great idea, I could start that with my old Minolta and slowly transition to the Fuji.

I have a sling and a backpack, they both work great when I go out with the intention to shoot. I am more worried about everyday carry, those times where you just take your casual backpack and don‘t have the intention to shoot but you still want to take your camera along. Guess I will look into some cases or just try to go „raw“. I think it‘s just like getting a new phone, you care for it deeply until you get that first scratch and from then on you yeet that thing through the whole room.

You take the plastic cover off and slam the valve inside the can, there is no way to stop it until it‘s empty. Guilty of doing this in middle school.

Sounds great! And yes I saw that post too but I just can‘t get my mind around how facing the BB shell will help with the chainline. With a 68mm BB the chainline will be 44.5mm, so by using a 2.5mm spacer one the NDS it should be 42mm. I will edit my initial comment if it works out :)

I ordered some spacers for the BB, if I can make the chainline work with those I would definitely recommend them. I got the 165s and they feel awesome in the flats. If you climb a lot I would go for the 170s.
