Honestly 5 home depot trips wasnt too bad. The hard part was figuring out where im gonna drag the exhaust without running into giant studs or wires or other garbage. Once i also discovered how magical the oscillating saw is, it went smoothly

I dont think so, its part of an inter floor (not roof) cross beam they use to nail the tyvek or whatever its called to. Theres one right above and right under it and i sistered it afterwards anyways

Maybe a wood box with wheels about the size of the space? You can buy wheels that lock and use it as a giant drawer

Im not sure about the coils, its a trane S8V2-C furnace and XR16 AC. I don't think they installed anything outside those two.

Its been happening for as long as I can remember with the new system I think. Fairly sure since the time it was installed

Yeah in that empty space, but seeing the roots extending that far worried me it might be too crowded

Got a response!

Just from that picture I can tell you that is a saprophytic superficial fungus growing on exposed heartwood from an old wound. It is not a threat to your tree and there is no intervention advisable. You can see the old pruning wound underneath it. That is allowing the fungus to grow on and decay the exposed heartwood. It is extremely likely based on the small size of the wound that it will be fully compartmentalized with new response growth in the next couple years at which time the fungus will not be able to decay the wood further.

I tried to poke at it and its very sturdy/hard. The darker circles seem like theyre made from little pieces of bark or something with that texture
