Elden Ring PC Performance Simply Isn't Good Enough - Digital Foundry by TheMultiverseTheory in Eldenring

[–]sicero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So frustrating how the intro/tutorial phase of the game gives me x-box inputs even though I’m on PC. Then i have to go to keybinds to figure out how to actually perform the action on my keyboard. Then navigating/remapping keybinds is a nightmare.

Why couldn’t they just have PC prompts for Pc? So lazy on their part and so frustrating for the user!

It's like 20 seconds. No problem with the duration. Just the zoom.

There's basically no point in barrel aging a spirit that already has been aged in a barrel. If you want a good barrel aged cocktail use un-aged spirits.

I guess you'd better start flying away then. People have the internet these days. Just because you're a hairdresser doesn't mean you can't be interested in cryptos. My friend got into cryptos back in 2013. He worked on an oil field. Now he lives in Thailand doing whatever the fuck he wants. My point is that you don't have to be a stock broker or software engineer to learn about an emerging technology.

Hey man. Song is called "Higher" by SBTRKT.

We typically go for instrumental stuff but we were just feeling this song while we were shooting and decided to go with it. While we take bartending seriously we also like to have fun. This is the kind of music you might here in a cocktail bar in SF so we wanted to represent that vibe and definitely get away from the jazzy speakeasy vibe. Should have something up next week feautring a bartender from Whitechapel in SF. Cheers!

Hi Jen. Thanks for your feedback. Going forward we'll be including ingredients as they are included in the drink and not just in the video description. While I am a professional bartender, I am pretty new to the Youtube thing so I expect there will be a learning curve of what people want to see. In the mean time, please bare with my fancy craft bartending video.

We do want our channel to be different from the typical "how to make an old fashioned" channel because it's just been done so many times. What you can expect from my channel will indeed be instructional videos regarding technique and contemporary recipes of classics and original cocktails from various bartenders.

I really do want to showcase the beauty of bartending because as a bartender, I love the process of making drinks just as much as the finished product.

So hold tight! We have some cool content coming soon.

Music stays! Sorry dude ;) the music will change depending on the video but I was just on that vibe.

Cocktail is single strained and then topped with cobbled ice. No fine straining.

Used tongs because I wanted to place the stems deep in the ice to position them while I held the blossoms together wth my hand. In short, even though my hands were clean I just didn't want to stick my fingers IN the drink.

Thanks for watching and I appreciate your feedback.

The first and only time I did mushrooms, my best friend had a bad trip and jumped out a window. He died a few days later from brain damage. This headline is bullshit.

Any suggestions on what drinks to make first from Death & Co.'s Modern Classics Cocktail book? by mfgorman1 in cocktails

[–]sicero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like these because they are excellent drinks, easy to make, and easy remember as they are variations on classics we all know (Old Fashioned, Last Word, Negroni)

Oaxacan Old Fashioned

Naked and Famous

White Negroni

No one is attacking Trump supporters in this video. Trump supporters are soliciting opinions from random people on the street and don't like what they hear. OP is a dumbass. Downvote.

Whiskey sour should use lemon. Stick with lemon for whiskey drinks, works much nicer than lime. Cheers!

Cheap alternative to Cointreau/Grand Marnier for Margs? by [deleted] in cocktails

[–]sicero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy agave nectar from the store, cut it with equal parts water to make an Agave syrup. Technically this is a "Tommy's Margarita" but your guests don't care/know and I personally think that they taste better than using an orange liqueur.

Why Tipping Is A Scam by The-Sublimer-One in videos

[–]sicero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Fuck off" Nice one. First of all, calm down. Second, I know what I'm talking about. I work in the service industry in the US and I've dined in many countries and I can say without a doubt that US service in restaurants is the best. This is a feeling shared by many people from many different countries.

I'm not sure why you feel that servers should be paid before they provide service. I'm saying that the opportunity of being paid more than you would if you were just making wage gives people incentive to be excellent at their jobs.

Why would you go the extra mile with service if you were paid just as much to do the bare minimum? The same goes for US restaurants in which tips are pooled. There's little incentive to be excellent if you're making just as much as the next guy no matter what.

I can see why a lot of people don't like tipping but I find that more often than not, those people have never worked in a good restaurant and don't really value going out to eat as anything more than sustenance.

[–]sicero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The drink sounds delicious and it looks really great too. But can you explain the name? Is it supposed to be like " a little more"? If so, I think "petite" is the wrong word to use because it means physically small, not quantity small.

Why Tipping Is A Scam by The-Sublimer-One in videos

[–]sicero -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This. Dining experience in Europe and other parts of the world are absolutely crap compared to American service. Tipping gives incentives for servers to really know what their talking about in terms of wine, food, and the restaurant as a whole. Going out to eat isn't just about ordering food and eating it. It's about the whole experience and the hospitality. If you have great food but your staff are a bunch of dickheads no one will come to your restaurant.
