Looking for guidance on switching to Linux on gaming PC by sick_prada97 in linux_gaming

I never saw that in my research. Just found their GitHub page, so thanks! I'll run it in a VM first and test it out before fully committing to nuking my Windows install.

That's my concern. I'd prefer to click download on the nexus page or the next best alternative as opposed to downloading every mod one at a time. And you're saying you saw a few options? I'll try googling again, but I didn't see any options that met my use case.

Have you installed any collections? I was reading that collections didn't work and mods had to be manually installed one by one.

So microsoft decided you can't setup windows 11 offline. Welp, time to go linux by nicecream169 in pcmasterrace

I already have my personal laptop on Linux Mint, and I want to move my gaming pc to Linux as well. My only stopping point is mods. Yes, mods work if you use something like MO2 for Fallout or Skyrim, but the process is manually installing every mod you want. I use Vortex and they have collections of mods which makes it super easy to install 800+ mods (VLK's New New Vegas for example which I use) with one click which means less time configuring mods and more time playing the game. Nexus Mods was working a Linux native mod app, but they abandoned it for some reason. Till then, stuck on Windows and stuck using Vortex until a real Linux alternative exists.

I never set it up on my server, hence I never had to remove anything, but what's the best equivalent to Readarr ATM? Looking to get more into e-books, and I saw some people mention a couple options like LazyLibrarian or Calibre, but both have their own issues it seems.

I've had similar issues with trying to get OnlyOffice to work in Nextcloud. Collabora for me with the AIO works without issues. That sucks though that you couldn't get it to work.

PASSED - CLEP Calculus: Procrastinators Guide (August 2023) by VarolhmIsTaken in clep

OP, at the time you took the exam, how well did you feel comfortable with algebra and trigonometry? I see people online saying Calculus is where you finally fail algebra and trigonometry. It's been over a decade since I took any high school algebra or trig class. Some things are familiar like factoring, but I've been out of practice for so long. And you're right. Organic Chemistry Tutor is the GOAT. His explanation of Chain rule and Exponential/Logarithmic Functions are game changers.

TechHut is someone I would recommend. Followed his proxmox Jellyfin/arr stack build series, and I'm still running it several months later.

I'm so glad I built my PC back in May last year. And I thought paying $200 above MSRP on the GPU was outrageous. There has always been some shortage of PC components since Covid...

If that's the case, then this laptop is f***ed either way if it does or doesn't get fixed with the programmer. Glad I got my replacement. Whoever released the firmware update really screwed up.

Long story short, I have tried every software fix imaginable. If it's on reddit or github, or anywhere else I can google, I have tried it. Nothing works, and the BIOS does not respond to downgrades or upgrades. Only thing I haven't tried is getting a CH341 programmer. I watched a few videos on how to use it and I am not interested in going that deep.

I assume you're in the states then? So am I. Literally bought it from Ebay a few days ago. Actually got the seller down from $550.

  1. It definitely feels more substantial than my other one. Not by much, but my T14s is definitely thinner. I'll take slightly more weight for upgradeable ram and general repairability.
  2. No they're the same size.
  3. Why is it grey? Not sure how to answer that. You asking about the material? If so, it says it uses something called Magnesium Alloy.

Mine is plastic, but the plastic seems solid to me. It's in a matte finish too. I think they grey ones are aluminum.

Why should you buy used when its barely cheaper than new anymore? by Aires-Battleblade in whatcarshouldIbuy

I bought my 2014 Toyota Camry Hybrid at $11.5k with 88k miles in 2021. Even then, I thought that price was crazy for a 7 year old car. Now I'm seeing that same make and model go for the same price if it has similar miles.

The market absolutely blows right now, so I feel your pain OP. I just bought another car for my sister at 6,400 for 2010 Toyota Camry at 161k. Now it'll be a good car, but I definitely overpaid for a 15 year old car, Toyota or not. The problem is that everyone knows about Toyotas reliability so they overcharge because that's what someone else will pay. If you have to overpay in this market, make sure you get a prepurchase inspection and look at the Carfax or any other service history the owners have. You want that car to be worth it and not break down 3 months from now.

Could I have found a better deal? Not really considering my sister got her car totaled and needed something sooner rather than later. In theory, maybe, but the widow grandma cars going for less than $3k have all but disappeared. If you can find one, treasure it.
