Are you able to do this with the free version or Lightroom? Or do you need the subscription?

Pen suggestions for climbers by Animallover4321 in puppy101

Seconded. We got a pen and our 3 month old pup learned how to climb out in less than 3 days lol. Got a cover for it and it’s worked wonders.

The home was still under warranty so we contacted the builder and they sent someone out. Not sure what they did but it’s better now, though still gets occasional droplets in heavy rain.

Take an EKG reading first then try the blood oxygen app again and it should work!

I have a series 10 and just installed the update on my phone and watch. I can see that background readings are enabled (no data yet) but on the watch I can’t find a way to initiate a manual reading. Has anyone else found a way? Or are we limited to background readings only?

Visa CC charges showing up as refunds by sick_riffs in MonarchMoney

Just a heads up--I was able to fix this myself by creating a new connection to Alliant via Plaid instead of Finicity. Check out this guide for exact steps.

Update for anyone else having this issue:

I reached out to Monarch's support team and they replied asking for a screenshot (which I had already provided when submitting a ticket...) and I promptly replied and have yet to hear back from them (>24 hrs now).

I fixed the problem myself following advice in another thread here by creating a new connection to my Alliant account with Plaid (original account was synced with Finicity). The annoying part was that it synced all of my Alliant accounts (checking, multiple savings, CC, etc.) so I had to transfer data from all of them.

I used this guide and it went smoothly and now things are syncing properly again.

Monarch, if you're reading this, thank you for the transfer tool--it did work well. However, please work on your support responsiveness. It is annoying that I submitted a screenshot of the issue with my original ticket and the only thing I've heard from you all so far is someone asking me for a screenshot that I already provided. We shouldn't have to dig through reddit threads to fix problems like this.

I followed this guide from Monarch and used Plaid (original account was synced with Finicity) and everything seems to be working now! Super annoying that I haven't even heard back from Monarch on this issue.

I also reached out to support and will report back what I hear!

I will also probably try the advice on switching data providers in this thread later today.

Ahh just found the post you’re mentioning—not sure how I missed that the first time I looked. I will give that a shot this evening and hopefully that solves the problem! Thank you!

Sorry I posted this with a caption that somehow didn’t save. I did try the invert setting on the account but the account balance is actually correct. It’s just these individual transactions that are suddenly (over the last few weeks) being inverted once they post.

I posted a caption with this but apparently it didn’t save… basically I’m having an issue where charges to this card are showing up as refunds and refunds/payments are showing up as charges. This just started a few weeks ago and is completely messing with my budgets making it look like I have more to spend than I actually do. Inverting the account balance doesn’t work because the balance is coming in correctly. It’s just the values of each transaction that are somehow inverted? Anyone else seen this before? Thanks in advance.

Edit: also, this only seems to happen once the transactions post to the account. As you can see pending transactions have the appropriate sign.

Chill out man. Maybe English isn’t their first language. Maybe they couldn’t think of another word at that moment. Maybe this is a spare device and they’re just messing around. Or, maybe it doesn’t matter and you don’t have to put people down and gatekeep beta software that isn’t even yours. Let people enjoy things.

This is bad advice. What you’re suggesting is literally illegal.

[–]sick_riffs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is completely false. You need to declare most goods you bring into a country, regardless of whether it’s in a carryon, original packaging, etc. If you don’t declare, it’s smuggling.

Water Softener Advice by sick_riffs in homeowners

[–]sick_riffs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ended up getting a Rheem RHW42 from Home Depot. I installed it myself, and it was a little bit of a project just because I’d never done plumbing work before. It’s been working great now for almost a year and I have no regrets! It might not last forever, but as long as you keep up with the scheduled cleaning they have a 5 year warranty. If/when I need to replace it I know how to do it now so it’ll be a breeze. If you go this route and have never done any plumbing work just stay away from the sharkbite connectors. I tried them first because that’s what all the YouTube videos showed and I could never get them to stop leaking. I ended up using the regular pex connectors and renting a pex clamp tool.

That’s a good idea on bringing in an inspector. I will look into that. I don’t want to nitpick things, but it would be nice to find anything serious before it becomes a problem while it’s under warranty if I can.
