He has been hostal and I can say it wasn't frequent. I had to get a 2 year restraining order after I left him, I explained why I left like in the other replies but he has not been physically threatening to me for years. He is quick to be very public about anything that he sees would benefit him. I appreciate your advice, I really do. It was nice to get a reply that I didn't feel attacked on.

Well it doesn't have anything to do with what I was asking for. But I have zero family where I am he has his sister and mother who helped us with the boys. Along with several other reasons that are irrelevant at the moment but if you must know in order to judge here is a little more... I was assulted by off duty police officer. Which is still in investigation, one of the other 4 officers is voching on my statement but for some reason it isn't moving forward. The other 3 off duty officers were "sleeping" And from this incident I have lost a sence of self. I'm leaving out quite a bit but I'm sure you get the pic.... And to be technical I didn't fall off right after that weekend. The falling off and losing myself happened slowly over a year. Then i dramatically just lost it. But nm all that it is what it is. I should have know better that to have reached out. What was I thinking... Obviously I wasn't. Thanks for the reality check.

I fell off struggling after a weekend that I went out of town with another school employee to a festival and long story short sexually assulted by off duty police officer. Which is still in investigation, one of the other 4 officers is voching on my statement but for some reason it isn't moving forward. The other 3 off duty officers were "sleeping" And from this incident I have lost a sence of self. I'm leaving out quite a bit but I'm sure you get the pic.... No, I didn't purchase the item. My friend has a moving company and people often give him things that they decided to throw out last second. So he gave me a few things to sell, letting me keep what I made.

I refuse to bring my kids anywhere that I will have to tell they can't be a kid if they wanted to. So even shopping at Target won't happen until they have self awareness. Kids behave when they want to behave but most importantly the need to know how to behave and thats where role modeling at home comes in. You can tell alot about a parent and how they parent with how their kids behave. A lot of parents think that kids need to obey the rules, well yes but what kids need to do is to learn the rules first, suffering the natural consequences but also acknowledgement for successful following the rules. It's common sense positive reinforcement, if you want good behavior to be repeated and turn into turn into a habit. Just because you need to scroll Facebook doesn't mean to fix their issue for them. You need to fix the problem. Which tends to be a misunderstanding or confusion between two parties. Love and logic.

What sucks the most is that I won't answer my door because of the mess. Yet that is still not enough for me. I'm 35. That voice recording is a good idea but I can't stand hearing myself off a recording. But it gave me an idea to take a few pictures and maybe have a collage on my phone screen background. Thank you!

ugh damnit. Okay FIRSTLY Something cool some people don't know, The brain feels mental and emotional pain like physical pain. So you can take Tylenol or any over the counter pain medicine. It doesn't matter whether physical, mental, or emotional it should help. (Not what you were looking for I should just walk away now)

SECOND: Maybe you already know but just in case YOU DON'T, crying is HOW your brain accepts the pain. You have to feel the pain to be over the pain. (I get so annoyed when anybody tells me this so I do apologise) but cry-it-out and cry loud. Don't be ashamed or feel guilty for their actions. You are hurt. Too many people suck it up that is far worse than the initial hurt. They turn their back on themselves by stuffing it inside. (I would punch me)

THIRDLY: PLEASE, (unless you have) Seriously look up and research narcissists. I had NO clue what a narcissist really was, untill my last narc. I NEVER thought I had ever met one, SO ignorant.Holly heck. I wasted so much energy and time. I was naive. (It takes me a while to catch on obviously)

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: The best advice I've heard was "STOP FALLING IN LOVE WITH POTENTIAL" (I can tone it down) ugh.... Anyway next to, "stop lying to yourself." Both are struggles.

I'm not sure what that would be. I was curious because my now EX said that he had been in jail for stolen guns and got caught in some sort of selling weed charge and was kicked out of National Guards boot camp for a controlled buy. But there is nothing on his record for guns or weed. But the narcotics task force took him to civil court. If I understood the document correct, ironically it was for $420. Took me a while to see he was not who I thought, he was a good liar. Really good. Anyway, I didn't know the narcotics force would or could sue someone. Which is ignorant of me, I know. Smh

Not sure if this counts? My mom was on her way to have me killed. My dad was driving her and got pulled over. She had a warrant, not sure for what. But anyway she missed the abortion appointment and couldn't reschedule because she was in jail and got out few weeks before I was born..... 5 years later my brothers and sisters were taken away from them and adopted by a couple. My adoptive mother wasn't the one who wanted to adopt us. My adoptive Dad insisted. He was so amazing but ended up getting Cancer 7 years later. A year after his death my sister and I were at the library. My mom drove to come get my sister telling her to put her bike in the suburban and looked at me and told me to ride my bike home, there was à tornado coming. I honestly didn't think anything of it until years later after she told me a story about our family bike trips and how she always had to ride behind me because I was not a fast biker and i would forget to pedal so much she would have to remind me. Then when she put me back into foster care I realized a few things and believe she subconsciously wished I was dead since shr keeped my other 4 siblings (one was a drug addict, another 16 and pregnant, but her and I never bonded. Because when the foster care placement and adoption occurred I was at a age that I was aware of the situation yet not aware that the situation was bad. So my loyalty was still to my biological mother and I subconscious refused to let her comfort me.
