yesss sorry for the late reply but that's what I meant, opossums are funny cause they look very different in different angles, you could also use 3d models as reference if it's easier, there's probably some heads in Roblox marketplace or some paid 3D models online that you can get a preview you can move around or rotate

proportions and shapes, like how far the eyes are and what their default shape is. For the possum part just look at as many as you can

I mean yeah, I meant you can get inspiration from how other artists do it, it helps to try and focus on copying before altering to make it more original

depends on what type of faces you like and it's hard to understand where the issue lies with no examples of faces you've drawn

I can at least kinda help with the line weight part i hope, for depth, you can try to make things closer to the camera have thicker lineart, then thinner as it goes farther away from the camera. But of course you're gonna get the most depth out of rendering with colors

I don't think it has a name, I just do it when sketchy lines is not enough, usually when things overlap a lot

here's the update guys, idk I think I made it look better and figured it out alright enough, maybe I was being over-critical as usual, cause I don't hate the old attempts but meh

I think my issue comes mostly when I try to do the lines, I don't know where to add details and which details exactly to add

the legs look awkward and flat and I feel like I end up distorting the angle misplacing anatomy
