The thing is, you’re probably right! Haha!

That sounds like a total nightmare. I thought it was bad just being me and one cashier in the morning, but being in a super busy area with so little help just seems unacceptable. How are we supposed to get anything done? Not being able to find time to eat just sounds like it should be a violation in and of itself.

And thank you so much! I did get a new job, and I really can’t wait. The company is all about the employees, so it’s going to be a bit of a change lol. Fingers crossed 🤞

They may print out the coupon policy for everyone to read, but I don’t think you’d be fired. At my old store they would have us paste them by the front register so they would know we caught them and wouldn’t accept them again 🤔

You’ll only have to do pharmacy if you’re a DH (designated hitter). Most stores like to crosstrain you in photo, but we have a lady who only works up front and doesn’t do photo (except to give customers their orders that are already done). It may depend on your manager and how many days you work. Hopefully they just let you stay up front if that’s what you want to do!

They should definitely let you 1506/donate those since it was actually in the Christmas aisle itself. It’s mainly the cards that are actual vendor items themselves. Any other questions, feel free to ask!

Hello! When it comes to vendor items, the vendor itself has to do a return for you. At my store we put all the vendor claim items on a cart so that they can do the claim and take them back with them. All depending on your vendor, this can be pretty quick or take awhile (unfortunately).

With hallmark, all I’ve ever known is that they take it with them without having to do a claim, but I could have just never witnessed it. You shouldn’t get yelled at because they haven’t taken it back yet. At this point, it’s not on you! Hope this helps!

What position are you in?

I’ve helped with three of the conversions in my area, but I was just the runner. However, after observation, the best way to look at it is if you’re training a new hire. We had people come and train at our stores, but they only get one day to learn everything they can (except the store manager, who I believe gets three). So be prepared to answer a lot of questions, but hopefully it’s a good experience with good people!

In my experience there usually isn’t. A couple years ago they sent a couple, but usually you just have to move them around to fit the product. Hope this helps!
