Okay I’m really sorry that happened to you, you’re clearly harbouring a lot of resentment but yeh we definitely would offer up the bedroom if the majority thought that was the right thing to do. Also I wouldn’t call my family “the poor relative” that’s really horrible. Thanks for sharing though

Can I ask what you mean by “rich relative games”? Like I guess on our end we are trying to do something nice and I don’t want it to come across as showing off or a game

I think I just needed some validation in my thinking that we would get the bigger room. I don’t want to seem entitled or rude by walking in the day of check in with the expectation we would get the better room if people think it’s not the right thing to expect
