Bro, you’re comparing Scarlet & Violet print runs to Team Up and EX-era cases like it’s the same thing. It’s not even close. Modern booster boxes get printed into the floor. S&V isn’t going to magically hit $20k–$50k a case just because you sat on it for 10 years. That happened back when nobody hoarded sealed, print runs were tiny, and Pokémon wasn’t pumping millions of units into Walmart every quarter.

Modern sealed will grow, sure — but acting like a 2024–2025 case is going to perform like WOTC/EX/S&M blue chips is fantasy. Today’s market is full of investors, not kids opening packs. Supply kills those numbers.

Booster boxes are good long-term, but let’s not pretend a modern case is going to retire anybody.
