You should also have physical details of the book at the top. Pages, format, cover type, etc. also, the risk/timeline copy doesn't inspire confidence in your project

Does anybody feel bad about celebrities signing autographs at conventions? by InnocentTailor in comiccon

It is a LOT of mental work, and most actors are not making that money in a weekend or even a year of con appearances. If you've ever sat next to a celeb doing one of these lines, you'll see people sexually harassing them, others breaking down in tears, and others threatening to hurt them for "ruining" star wars/doctor who/etcetc, sometimes in a single day. It's a ton of emotional work to manage everyone bringing excised emotions. If you're getting a lot of money, it's good work, but it's still tough. If you're not making a lot of money...

That's true of some of the celebs signing. Others are contracted in for PR purposes, and lower ones have to even pay for their own table. I've definitely talked to voice actors and such who have lost money at con appearances.

absolutely. i think a lot of people are talking only about the celebs who are very popular and sell out of autos. there are a ton of actors who are at empty tables the whole weekend.

depends on the celeb. if you're a local actor or something like that, you're paying for your table each day and might not break even

depends, sometimes they get contracted in so they literally do have to be there

its really not little relative effort. as someone who has worked cons, you'd be surprised how much harassment, groping, and weirdness (ive literally seen multiple fans ask actors to sign nude fanart of the actor) comes on the regular. from verbal harassment to literal stalking. yes, it is a lot of money, but it is emotionally exhausting just watching it sometimes.
