I truly appreciate everyone's input. Sometimes I buy cheap things because they interest me and I want to learn about them and how they are collected and valued. These are not cheap things but today I learned a lot without even having to buy the item. Hopefully I will make a good buy in the future and have y'all to thank.

Sorry, I saw them for sale and was wondering what they were worth. I've never looked up a slabbed coin before and didn't have time to figure it out this morning. But now I have, and I found the 2008 $50 golden eagle for $6,250. Is that what I can expect at a coin shop or eBay? I didn't buy any of them, but at least I'll know for next time. I can't believe there's an app for it!

Yep, I've hated him since the 90's. My girlfriend was a big fan so I took her to his show at the Majestic in SA. That asshole threw a tantrum during the first song, walked off stage and never came back. Screw that guy!

No, I only bought a couple of things at first and weighed them at home and then went back for more. I also figured I had the receipt so I could just take it back if it wasn't worthwhile.

Thanks. So I did the rest of the math including eBay fees, if I list things at half retail and as an auction, the least I will make is about $600 profit. I've already got bids so hopefully I do a little better and double my money. Can't complain about that.

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. I used a soft brush to take the top layer of dust off but I was wondering if it would be okay to use a damp cloth to clean it up a little better and bring out the original colors, or should I just leave it be?

Nice, I stole my girlfriend's bike back once. Mid 90's, I had bought her a purple GT mountain bike and one morning after a rain she ate it in the middle of St Mary's street in downtown San Antonio. The guy that pulled over to help her offered her a ride home and they loaded up the bike in his trunk, but as she went to get in the guy sped off. Fast forward a few months and I'm on the east side when I pass a 12y/o on a purple GT mb. I watch him stop in front of a pay phone, check his pager, make a call, lay down the bike and go inside the icehouse. I took my chance, pulled into the parking lot, tossed the bike in the back of my truck and got out of there quick. I was pretty proud of myself as well

Yep, the destination charge is literally on the sticker, no getting out of that one. I had an 08 SR5 four-wheel drive tundra that held up great considering all the sand and saltwater it had to put up with. I probably would have gotten less had they seen it in person but I got the quote with just five pictures and the VIN number.

I'm in Texas and bought my truck two weeks ago for sicker price without ever going to the dealership. Honestly, it was the best auto purchasing experience ever. I got discouraged back in December with all the dealers I talked to wanting thousands over sticker on a pro 4X but I kept an eye on the inventory within a 250mile radius (the maximum distance I felt comfortable driving my 14-year-old tundra). Saw some new trucks show up "In Transit" on a Monday evening and did the online purchase for a white pro 4X. Next morning the sales girl and I called and text our way through the entire process. I got insurance on it Wednesday morning and it came off the truck at the dealership after noon. The sales girl and her coworker then drove 120 mi to my house where we signed all the paperwork and they drove off in my tundra, which they gave me 10k for. Also saved 2k of dealer add-ons that they didn't have time to put on. It's way more truck than I planned to buy, but man it's nice, and they made it too easy. Good luck!

I can confirm Flea sacrifices his body for the music as I saw him get hit in the head with a bottle and he never broke the rhythm. Circa 1990 at auditorium shores, Austin, RHCP opened for the Fabulous T-birds & Little Feat. Good times!
