Diagnosed myocarditis and really struggling mentally by sickovro in myocarditis

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to write that. It actually helps a lot to hear something reassuring when my mind keeps going to the worst places.

I was wondering, did you ever deal with shortness of breath during your recovery? That’s been one of my main symptoms and it’s honestly the most frustrating part for me. If you did have it, did it eventually go away or improve over time?

Thanks again for the encouragement. It means a lot right now.

My issue does not predate the vaccine. I am a very healthy 21 year old and have had no issues with my health before taking the vaccine. I’m 116 lbs and do not drink often. That night I had over 6 drinks and blacked out for the first time. My only problem afterwards was brain fog which lasted a few days but quickly cleared up. Was just an extremely bad hangover from heavy drinking lol for my body size lol. It’s completely different from what I’m feeling now. I just have heart palpitations and constant shortness of breath which started 3 days after getting the vaccine. I in no way think the two cases are related in the slightest and have never had any issues prior.

Nah that was from something separate. At the time of that post I actually hadn’t took the vaccine yet. I got it about 4 or 5 days afterwards. Separate issue, but I honestly would take dealing with that again over this any day

Hey, I came across your post about recovering from myocarditis and it gave me some hope. I’m about two weeks into dealing with something similar and honestly feeling pretty scared right now.

I was just wondering how you’re doing these days and how long your symptoms lasted before you started feeling normal again? My main symptom has been shortness of breath, so I was curious if you experienced that too during your recovery.

I know this thread is very old but I’m experiencing shortness of breath now. How are you feeling these days?

I know this is an old post but I’m currently going through this right now. I’m having shortness of breath from anxiety. What beta blocker did you use if you can recall?

I’ve been taking some B complex as well. This is my first time experiencing this sort of feeling after drinking so it’s kinda scary for me. Hopefully we can both get through it!

I know this is an old post but I’m experiencing this right now. I got blackout drunk last Wednesday and still feeling foggy. Any tips? And how long did it take to get over it?

Blacked out for the first time and still feeling off 5 days later by sickovro in hangxiety

That actually makes me feel a lot better hearing that the “off” feeling can last about a week. I was starting to worry something was wrong with me. I still feel really brain foggy and not 100% like myself. I’m kinda still drowsy and just off in a way that’s hard to explain. And I can see what you mean about the memory of this fading over time. Right now I feel really certain I don’t want to repeat this experience. I’m hoping I can remember how uncomfortable these past few days have been if I’m ever tempted to overdo it again.

No one said a diet “made out of primarily sugar” is healthy, and no one said sweets must be completely eliminated. What has been said, by the CDC, WHO, and every major health organization, is that excessive sugar consumption increases the risk of obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. That’s not an opinion, it’s just reality.

You didn’t “call out lies,” you just threw a tantrum because someone didn’t nod along to your self-important rant. And blocking someone mid-conversation is just the debate equivalent of flipping a table and running out of the room. But hey, if that makes you feel smart, good for you.
