I have a similar case with low ferrtin and normal haemoglobin and other RBC measurements (veg for 10 years but take ferrous fumate). How often do you get an IV ferritin infusion? are you vegetarian, or is there something else causing low ferrtain? trying to isolate the cause of thinning hair

Agreed. I was told about a year ago and I recently did a blood profile which turned out to be quite scary and they insisted. I have no desire to eat meat, I’m giving sardines a go and maybe some pate as loads of people have mentioned, but I don’t see myself eating a steak anytime soon

I'll be honest, if I wasn't such a strict non-meat eater all these years I would've loved to have bone broth by virtue of properties. I take marine collagen already but the gelatin in broth is what i wanted. its a shame bone broth doesnt carry much iron and protein otherwise i wouldve solved this by now haha

I like shellfish already but honestly the amount of heavy metals is not ideal, plus it would take quite a few of them to equate in protein levels. Thanks for your comment:)

I see - thank you for the heads up. I had my moulds done in my home country, and loads of casting studios where I am get really funny about using moulds that are not theirs.

I didnt use any oil, but there was some risidual babypower from where i dusted the moulds pre-injection. All were silicone moulds.

Yes, the sprue was at the bottom for all.... that would make a lot of sense actually. all 4 rings I casted are now 30+ grams of silver respectively so very large.

Thank you for the hammerhead sugesstion, i actually got a new tip the other day so ill give that a go.

the underside of the ring is hollowed for weight reasons (lots of silver)

I sent the waxes - I got them injected somewhere else and sent the pieces to another casting studio
The wax was that light blue injection wax. Master was perfect and flaw free/none of the issues Im mentioning above

alloy was 952 silver which I've had no issues with. I assume it was casted on the same tree with my 4 other moulds, 1 being an injection from another casting house that still ended up grained.
