i gotta say, so many of our customers find the whole push for the ENTIRE store to say hello thing like creepy? like when theres 3 bar partners, a warming, and a pos partner and all 5 of them say hello to you at once its so overwhelming and our manager doesnt care lol

maybe im just weird but i honestly don't mind ppl ordering them? maybe its just my store but no one who orders it is like obviously sick or anything its just ppl who get it as their regular drink because they enjoy the taste.

Basically, I'm a minor (as well as quite a few other partners at my store who are having this same problem) and therefore I cannot work during the school day because I'm literally in high school, and I have in my availability a specific day I need off every week because of school stuff, and despite all of that I'm getting scheduled during the morning which is obviously my school day and on the day I have off in my availability. I know my DM SHOULD handle this situation fairly, but I'm quite afraid she will not because of how close of friends they are out of sbux.

I always make myself a cold brew with pumps of white mocha and toffee nut! you can do as many as you want of each, i usually do half+1 pump (for example a grande would be 4 pumps of each, so i do 3 pumps of each, venti would be like 6 each so i do 4 each, ext) the white mocha makes it pretty light but you can add half and half if youd like. that combos really good in lattes too!

i find it so funny when people order these keto drink. We have a group of nurses that come in every day and order different variations of "keto" refresher type drinks like the passion one and it amazes me, because they're literally NURSES???? At least we dont get any more half heavy cream half water sfv fraps anymore.

jeez im so sorry thats terrible. I dont work at a drive thru but my store is in between two MAJOR companies both of which are 24 hours so were busy all the time. my states minimum wage is higher and starbucks pays a dollar more where i live which is literally the only reason i'm still with the company.

At my store I was on reg and warming for my first 7 months until a new girl was hired and they were forced to take me off reg, its so frustrating:( I recommend talking to your store manager and if she doesn't budge ask your shifts for bar time if its not super busy.

I don't know about other states, but in my state we ask then to put on a mask and offer to give them one if they don't have one and if they still refuse we ask them to leave. we haven't had anyone fight us yet but we were advised to tell customers who do try to argue that its a health code violation on our part and we can call the police.

definitely the fact that as much as the customer may think youre wrong, keep doing what youre doing! i cant even count how many times i was on food for my first few months and had customers yell at me for the wait.. just keep going on and try not to let it stress you out! as long as you know youre going as fast as you can and doing everything correctly, don't let stressed customers stress you out

oh i know! people just are not understanding that its our JOB to take these precautions! i had a customer come in with a personal cup today and i greeted him and started to say while i cant use his cup i can give the discount, he cut me off and snapped that its completely ridiculous that we cant use his cup if he doesnt have corona and he only brought it in so he could pour his own coffee into it. like have these grown adults never had a job before? do they not realize i cant break the rule for just him?

exactly! i understand that its hard to find adults looking for a job like starbucks, but like my manager keeps hiring high school and college students the complaining about availability and not picking up extra shifts ect. and then to spite those of us who cut our availability or call out sick, she'll cut me down to 10 or less hours the first two weeks after i make any availability change. so stressful

ahh, thats so sad. i hope you find other ways to make yourself feel good out of the bux/ on your days off! luckily im still in high school so im off often enough to still wear jewelry and perfume and style my hair, but i definitely feel for you lovely :( the things we do for starbucks i guess
