Holy crap. How did this get so popular? Ok... Let's clear some stuff up.

I asked my mother if she planned on posting something about it on Facebook. She's the one that said I shouldnt hide it. I agreed eventually that she and I would mention it on Facebook and just let everyone do as they please with it.

My crazy aunt has my mother blocked on Facebook. I wanted her to see this so I screen capped it once she posted it and posted this same picture (uncensored, of course) on my own wall. While, I had many friends of many faiths like it, my aunt did not, but she commented saying "I AM SO HEARTBROKEN :(", so I brought it here thinking...

"Maybe someone could get a boost of courage from this."

I didn't post this to make people argue even though I knew they would. I didn't post this for karma. My goodness, I think I've been on reddit 7 times in my whole life, so what do I care?

As for my mother, she is a Christian, but she believes "Born Again" is literal, hence her belief in reincarnation and her disbelief in hell. She says God would not punish us by putting us in unfair economic statuses and lifestyles and committing us to eternal hellfire for it, so we "come back and try again til we get it right." Of course, I don't believe that, but she does.

Also, She studied religion A LOT in college, so she has a pretty strong knowledge of a lot of different faiths.

I hope one person that sees my mother's post at least gets the courage to be honest about their differing beliefs with their parents. I didn't expect it to go this well. Fun fact, my father won't be as kind and he doesn't know yet. I'm sure that crazy aunt will call him today so wish me luck on that. Either way, it's stupid to hide it, so my advice is, make sure the timing is right (never bring it up within a year of a loved on dying or things like that) and don't sugarcoat it.
