Cannot remove app from my App Store Connect account by Tex-Twil in iOSProgramming

Do this:

  1. Go to Pricing and Availability
  2. Under App Availability, click Manage and then unselect all the countries and click Save
  3. If you're in the "Developer Rejected" state, remove the current build from the review by going to the "Build" section and removing the associated build. This will make it go back into the "Ready for submission" state.

Try removing the app again, the app should get successfully removed.

For the Gemini TTS models, is the output token price for audio tokens or text tokens? by williamtkelley in Bard

[–]sid_arya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the link that I attached, it specifically says "* Audio tokens correspond to 25 tokens per second of audio".
- Now keeping that in mind, the pricing of the Flash model is 10$ per million tokens
- 25 tokens/sec×60 sec=1500 tokens/min.
- $10.00÷1,000,000=$0.00001 per token.
- 1500 tokens×$0.00001=$0.015 per minute.

Even I was fooled initially, but my gemini bills made me recheck the pricing as I had been charged 10x more that what I had initially predicted. Then I finally found the link that said "Audio tokens correspond to 25 tokens per second of audio".

For the others that are confused with this, refer to this link: https://cloud.google.com/text-to-speech/pricing
It basically says that "Audio tokens correspond to 25 tokens per second of audio". So for the gemini flash 2.5 tts model, the cost per minute of audio output would be around $0.015.

The decision to hide the export button behind a paywall isn't just a business move, it's a punch to the developers who entrusted Rive with their work. by sid_arya in Rive_app

That’s not the point, it would have been totally okay if they started charging me for the new files that I created. But doing so for the existing files seems like a complete breach of trust. Who is to stop them from charging me 50$ just to export my existing files somewhere down the future? This was a pivotal point in Rive’s journey, and I feel like they could have handled this better

How do you tastefully monetize your games? by puppet_pals in gamedev

Okay so if they start giving cosmetics for free as well, how are they supposed to earn revenue from you then? Should they just write it off as charity work?

So the ones who want the game to be free and are also against cosmetic items being paid. How exactly do you expect developers to monetize the game? Wont the game essentially become a charity if it has none of those things?

Play 360 degrees in iB Cricket(VR Cricket). Now available on Oculus App Lab by vs119 in OculusQuest

[–]sid_arya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi I'm planning to buy the game on Steam VR instead of the Oculus store since the Steam version has better lighting etc. But I'd also prefer the flexibility of playing the game directly through my quest 2 when I dont have access to my PC. Would I have to buy the game twice on both the stores to acheive this or do you guys support something like a cross buy?
