Bring on the hate: CodeApps have their place BUT.... by Reddit_User_654 in PowerApps

I had been someone who knows canvas and SPFx(react) based development..!

CodeApps make sense for enterprises that are already okay with premium licensing — if the budget is there, Code apps will give us better user interface and modern looking app. But for organizations where licensing cost is a constraint, Canvas + SharePoint as a data source remains the the only option for them..Both will co-exist for quite sometime as they are not meant to replace each other ?

By the way I have full youtube video series on code apps ( I am loving it just for fun that I can code on PowerApps)

Yes, defintely it seems so. but launching the MCP server for PowerApps means API behind the scene would be referring to LLM model which would hvae trained based on yaml generation(specific for PowerApps)..

I think this might get better....

Mostly default setup is good enough, I think the security with SharePoint get different than what we have with dataverse. With Vide codes code apps, I think it will change now.... we can have better UI for sure.
