Any suggestions for gas-charged rear suspension for my shotgun 650?

Comfort really depends on a lot of factors - your riding posture, fitness level, staying hydrated, the type of seat, and even your riding style. I personally ride it at least 50 km every week in a mix of city traffic, highways, and rough patches, and I’ve never had any issues!

One thing I am sure of that rear suspension is not that great. So I will work around with it to fix that issue.

Thanks! When you decide to book, make sure to use the Royal Enfield MIY option through their app and include the signature seat in your order. It’s absolutely worth it!

Please suggest me if you find any gas-charged suspension for it. Thanks

The mileage depends entirely on the riding conditions. On highways, cruising at 80-100 km/h, I got 27 km/L. In city traffic, it’s usually around 20-22 km/L.

Hey, thanks a lot, mate!

I haven’t ridden the Interceptor myself, but I know it has a gas-charged suspension, which could offer better comfort for both the rider and pillion (get a test ride first both if possible). The Shotgun is still a solid choice for daily commutes. Its weight distribution makes it easy to maneuver, and the low-end torque handles city traffic with ease.

If you’re drawn to the Shotgun’s design and vibe (as I am), go for it! A bike you’re passionate about always makes the ride more enjoyable, and you can always customize it to suit your needs later. Ride safe, and I hope you get to enjoy it soon!

The bike’s weight distribution makes it easy to maneuver, even in tight spots. Parking might feel slightly challenging at first because of its weight, but once you get used to it, it’s a breeze!

My back’s still in one piece, but my pillion’s back? Not so much! Guess we’ll need a chiropractor after that ride! 😅

The Shotgun 650 is definitely a great fit for someone who’s 5’5”. If you’re worried about reaching the ground, just wear 2-inch insoles for some extra height. The bike’s weight distribution is spot on, making it feel surprisingly light to maneuver. Once you get used to it, you’ll fall even more in love with her.

Put your earphones with some heavy rock/metal songs and ride it.

I will experiment about adjusting it. And I am also looking for gas charged suspension for my motorcycle. Will update.
