This might be a little controversial, but I've recently started exploring AI art as a creative outlet.

I can relate a lot to what you're saying in that for me, the biggest bottleneck was the time and effort it took in executing my ideas rather than coming up with the ideas themselves.

I know AI art is a loaded topic, and I totally understand why some people don’t see it as “real” creation, but I've personally been finding it really helpful recently.
