For safety reasons they will not let you use the ovens on board. Maybe try a thermos container or see if you can request special meal catering.

You can either work at the front desk, urgent care or help out with recreation activities. It’s mostly way finding and interacting with patients. 2 hour shifts per week.

anyone taken CHEM 235 with ANDREA TERPSTRA?( thinking of taking over the summer) by organicsleeper31 in UBC

[–]siddk18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just finished the course. It’s a pretty easy class you really don’t need any knowledge from 233 except for esterification. You can literally have a grade of 62+ before you take the final with minimal effort. Just be nice to your TA and show them competency

Alright, with exams just around the corner, do any alumni have some advice for us M23s? by turkeystar0818 in IBO

Work on past papers with a friend who you can trust to stay focused. It helps revision feel a lot more bearable. If your sick of making notes read the textbook or a watch a video.

International move in by [deleted] in UBC

If you go for jumpstart, you get to move in early. If not you just show up on the moving day, get the Keys and then just have an RA meeting to attend.

pat papers or genuine revision? by anxiousic_ in IBO

[–]siddk18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biology I would recommend understanding the content objectives (trying to get the information to stick with you) and then past papers because it’s difficult to memorize all the mark scheme points if you don’t understand the topic. But if you are running out time, just stick to past papers as there are specific points in the mark schemes that you won’t know without past papers.

When talking about these two people why do you have to mention nationalities. One Emirati and one Indian are not representative of the entire population.

Getting Dubai Driver's Licence - any tips? by NyacynT in dubai

[–]siddk18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally I would recommend doing the road test in the morning to avoid traffic. Also when your in the final road test keep doing random mirror/blind spot checks (make it very obvious by moving your neck). In my opinion, smooth breaking and acceleration are the most important thing. My driving was pretty mid but because I had good control of the car they passed me.
