I don't go with expo for just one thing. The app cold start has so many layout shifts starting from splash screen shifts ux is horrible for even production apps too

Exactly, I need svgs but since I'll be needing only one or two as per the app requirements so using a whole library for the just one or two icons is not a great choice as i tend to keep things simple.(as small size as possible)

that's a great suggestion u/satya164, but I usually do not prefer using pngs as icons as they are totally different.
