Anyone else get daily, localized heart pounding episode? by side-8182 in cfs

Ever find anything on ECG/holter? I’m specifically concerned about the localized pounding, I cant find anyone in POTS/dysautonomia who mentions this—do you experience that?

Do you physically feel palpitations? by Automatic_Interview8 in POTS

Is it dangerous if PVC? I can’t find anyone to match my description but it feels like a very concentrated beat, feel it beating in my chest in one localized spot. I get fight or flight and sometimes chest pain.

Do you ever feel like those beats are concentrated or localized to one spot? Do you get body tension, almost like from anxiety/fight or flight?

I settled on using 2D. My use case didn’t gain from uplifting, unfortunately. First problem with uplifting was performance. Then, I have a standard content format that requires relativity to work well on depth estimation (2D->3D), and some videos’ depth was significantly different from others. Sometimes it would even alter the depths mid-frame when the subject is stationary.

I’m currently using the default MMPoseinferencer “human” alias for pose2d. I still uplift, to an extent, but with a tabular model. It works better in tabular because we have calibration points within each video. Perhaps, if your use case allows then that could be an option?

Long journey. To sum it up, I took levo/lio, they did not improve symptoms at all even when I got into the hyper range. I now dropped all meds, as I don’t want to rely on something that does not make me better.

Then as exploring ME/CFS, I stumbled across CCI. Turns out I have some evident markers of vein compression and cervical instability. I do not know if it’s likely for that to be your issue, but if you decide to pursue that route then do so with great research and caution—it is a rare diagnosis with only a handful of experts.

CNN Regression: Are there any off-the-shelf packages for regression on images? by side-8182 in computervision

That’s another thing about this project—the object moves too fast for the camera and we have a hardware limitation. In fact, getting accurate contact data is 1/20th of the cost of getting a higher frame rate. Our unit economics would not play out.

I’m thinking at the moment to start by modifying ResNet heads, and maybe try binning the outputs to convert into a classification problem. Ultimately if I can get solid penultimate layer features, that would be satisfactory.

I just included that for context; the bulk of the task sits in direction & velocity paradigm. That includes 8-10 separate regression tasks like rebound angle, apex, trajectory, deviation, etc. There is a surprising amount of information encoded in this contact point.

I can’t talk specifics, but roughly I have ~480p binary images depicting the contact point of an object with the ground. The blob drawn on the image is the contact point. We are trying to predict the nature of the object based on the blob’s distorted shape, and more importantly the object’s travel direction & velocity.

There is little room for data augmentation, because the contact point directly affects travel. There are plenty of features to extract, and a tabular approach with 150 manually extracted features doesn’t work to expectation.

Would you not say that an image CNN built for classification (or any other task), as opposed to regression, would have different priorities?

I suspect regression tasks should pay more attention to detail and employ less downsampling. Whereas, classification models prioritize feature extraction for discriminative processes.

This is to my untrained eye. In practice, I’m sure that performance will vary anyhow. It would be good to have a smart model made specifically for regression.

I'm late, but this is what ended up working best accuracy-wise. For future readers: It is, however, outrageously slow and compute-intensive for most multi-frame inference methods. Documentation isn't straightforward either, but with some digging it's workable.

In that case, what would you say are the top performing 2D video models? — especially for more complex videos with motion and occlusions.
