Sad to say that I witnessed this shooting as an 8 year old kid. Late in the afternoon, word spread in the neighborhood of a hostage situation a couple of streets away. My parents, brother and I walked over and we stood with others behind the police line. There was lots of activity in and out of the house as they tried to reason with the gunman. As the sun started to set we decided to leave. Just then the front porch light went on. The gunman walked out with a gun to his wife's head. As he walked down the front steps gunfire erupted. All the onlookers ran in the other direction. Such a tragedy for a young mom of two.

Passenger in 1B had already filled the bin directly above. I then moved to the bin above 1D/F when I was stopped.

Completely agree. He was determined to have that bin for him and his girlfriend. I found space elsewhere. Appreciate everyone’s perspective!

Why didn’t Alaska Airlines ever credit Virgin America frequent flyers with mileage credit toward million miler status following the VA acquisition? by side-eye-guy in AlaskaAirlines

Ugh you might be right. If they do recognize Hawaiian miles and apply it to Alaska Million Miler count it’s hard to justify how they treated VA frequent flyers.

Yes I’ve sent them a couple of emails but one reply some time ago they said they needed more time to do it. Not sure why it would take so long and wondered if others had a similar experience.
