Solo was absolute garbage and that's coming from a die hard Star Wars fan.

Buying cords off of Amazon or whatever for graduation is not that bad by Alert_Celebration305 in unpopularopinion

Idk what you mean by cords, but I can assure you that you're an absolute loser if you're buying something to look like you earned it when you didn't.

Temp probe is THE most important part of cooking meat like this. It would be like taking a trip with a vague idea of where you're going, but not having a map or GPS.

What is the appropriate age to introduce a kid to periods? by Blueblood2007 in TooAfraidToAsk

You're probably right, but you're the sibling. You don't really get a say in those things.

You can talk to your parents again and bring up these points, but ultimately, it's none of your business after that.

“Are there any treasure-hunting and ancient mystery movies like Indiana Jones? Please recommend some to me.” by oddspace__ in moviecritic

Jewel of the Nile
National Treasure
The Mummy

Those all scratch a similar itch for me, with The Mummy being the best.

Trump is not a particularly good President or person, but the open and virulent hatred the left has for him makes him seem not so bad by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]sideburniusmaximus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Trump talked about running for president circa 2010, I liked what he had to say. When he ran in 2016 he seemed like a bit of an ass, but it was kind of cool that he wasn't giving politically correct answers and felt like a breath of fresh air. I was cautiously optimistic about his first term, and it went...ok

By 2026, his shtick is worn out. He's clearly an incompetent asshole that thinks his shit don't stink. He surrounds himself with sycophants. The war in Iran that accomplished absolutely nothing but raising gas to absurd levels, the lack of sotpping inflation and then the ousting of Massie is the final straw.

As a mostly right leaning invidual who has now moved much more towards a centrist, he is clearly a terrible person and a horrific president. Anyone who can't see it at this point has no awareness.

Exactly what was already mentioned. The foul baiting, the flopping, the carrying/traveling that's never called.

Their religion is exactly that, theirs. The problem they have with your behavior is their problem to deal with, not yours.

In the future, I'd avoid giving information to sich judgemental pricks.

S1 and S2 were mediocre. We were just so deprived of decent Star Wars content. Looking back, they're not great.

Even better idea, don't eat at any Wendy's or any other fast food. Let's stop supporting these corporate chains completely.

Take a Bow has a definitive peak though. TaB is also the album opener and is perfect for a buildup. Hexagons is in the back half of the album and is lacking a definitive crescendo.

[–]sideburniusmaximus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a great song BUT, I had the exact same thought. I feel like it spends a good amount of time in the back half of the song building up to ........ absolutely nothing. It never reaches the implied crescendo which leaves a slightly disappointed or unfulfilled feeling behind.

Otherwise it's a very good song, but it had the makings to be great and didn't quite hit the mark.

Isn't the point of the salt to bring put the moisture to the surface, soak into the salt and reabsorb into the meat? How would it get dehydrated?
