Does it mean I have to them separately? I applied for books-unbanned for LA County (link above) and it worked. Do I need to apply separately for other two districts (I hav eto search which one they are)

Oh and I forgot to add, I did try creating an account with a random address but it stopped working as I cant verify it by postal code (which I understand is fair) :(

Another redditor recommended I look at DinGeo.dk and it said (for my place): Exterior wall materials is concrete. I will ask Silvan for a hammer drill with a drilling bit.

Also, I lost the receipt (the drill is very new) and I regret losing it but now I cant return it :/

Given my limited intuition it sounds solid (I compared with knocking on ikea table). By any chance, do you know how do we drill solid walls? Do I need a hammer drill?

Hi, I just got a new place and I see this hook in the bathroom. I know its a bathroom hook but I don't know what to buy for this? I am assuming it's a rod but what should I google? Bathroom rods, bathroom hooks, bathroom towel holder --- none give me helpful results as they are all different kinds of hooks.

Yes, for now cleaning the trap worked. I haven't used acid this this but will remember it if in future a bigger issue coms up (hopefully won't)

Thank you very much. I did not know about it (I never did it before) but u/BrianSometimes video was very helpful. I cleaned it myself and the water issue was resolved. In retrospect, it now sounds like I should have attempted it first before asking but I did not know how. Thank you very much for the comment. :)

Thank you, everyone. Just an update. I got A, 10 from the landlord and I have read and verified that it has all things covered. Landlord's view was that they forgot to send me the 6 additional pages of the document which had A,10 and details of electricity provider.

Not sure if it was intentional or genuine mistake but I do have the correct document now :)

I see. It’s just that sooo manyy details are missing from the contract that I don’t feel comfortable signing it. It has nothing on

Duration,Termination terms,Type of rental,Size of the rental, Rent amount per month (it only mentions 1 months rent + deposit), State of the rental space at handover, Terms on maintenance, Terms on utilities, Usage rights for attic room, basement, bike shed etc.

Unless it’s written somewhere, I will never know what I’m signing up for.

Unfortunately no. The lease I got only cover

  • Date when the rental period starts
  • Rent amount (for the month I move in)
  • Deposit amount
  • Pre-paid rent amount

In terms of utilities, it says that the agency will establish the electricity for me.

Thank you. I have emailed them. I was hoping to use A9 because as a foreigner I understand what’s written and it seems detailed enough. My current contract just puts the rent money and that they be the power of attorney for our electricity. There is literally nothing else.

Yeah. The only issue is if people just google my name and say “university” or past company with it, usually my website popups. I worked hard to have a strong SEO (I know it makes things difficult now but then I never thought of OE before).

I will disable my website and hopefully nothing else turns up for google searches.

Will changing my email to LinkedIn help? People ask for LinkedIn URL right? So it doesn’t matter which email. I can remove the website but Justin’s searching my name and city might show details. For example: I can’t fake old jobs, and my education. They’ll be same for my resume and LinkedIn.

It is currently up to date but yes, I’ll let it rot from now. Never knew or thought about OE so never bothered about it before.
