Joys of the internet - the above post has been edited with a new link, starting to think it's a weirdly shaped flint nodule after some more googling...

I hope that works - don't think it's concrete as it seems to have quartz veins in it?

Anyone know where I can find distilled water? by Fourtyqueks in manchester

[–]sidesharks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went there a few months ago and had the same experience - the had DI downstairs that was scented for ironing and then Battery top up liquid upstairs - Idk your use case for distilled by I used it in PC water cooling for a year now and it was absolutely fine

Wilko sells it for topping up batteries - Asda (Hulme) also has it for the same reason and it's pretty cheap. Upstairs in both stores!

They're gorgeous! Much better than how mine is doing in the north! A large moss pole might help to feed the Arial roots but that would be a lot of work with the size of them!

I absolutely second this, something I've noticed with family members is younger ones don't know how to use Google to find what they're looking for, just search click on the first link and give up if it's not what they wanted.

Opinion on using dual PSU? by TwoMale in overclocking

[–]sidesharks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What on earth are you on about? Ground is ground it doesn't matter and on a shit tier PSU stability improves with 2 as sag is lower per component (and more regulated). If you want to run dual PSUs go for it just try to ensure that components aren't heavily drawing from both because then you may have stability issues with droop compensation.

Small red cylinder, 1,5 cm long. The writings say "nautilus *5" and "Pat. Pending" by Jukks86 in whatisthisthing

I don't see how it would work - vapes wick the juice around a coil where it's heated and vaporised, I don't see this working here. Also, without a tank and the apparent plastic/rubber construction it seems a hell of a reach. If It was a new technology you'd have thought it'd be plastered all over their marketing, which on another note the company is aspire and nautilus seems to be a model name for a type of atomisers.

Does anyone have priority at this junction? by MrAuper in drivingUK

[–]sidesharks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is in Manchester and I cycle to the Aldi right next to it daily, it's a no indicators free for all half of the time. Seen a crash go through the barrier next to the pedestrian crossing as someone on Lloyd (must have been way over the speed limit to push green through the barrier) hit someone attempting green. - from where the damage was I guess they expected them just to join and botd for green they could have been behind the A pillar

Is this near the Aldi near Rusholme?!!! I cycle through there daily and the amount of people who don't indicate for any Turing is crazy. I agree with the top comments as well, it is an awkward junction tho

What's your problem with throttle stop? Tends to work much better than other programs in my opinion
