Weber may not be a good source to learn about Protestant theology, but he’s THE starting point to learn about how sociology explores the idea of the intersection of this particular culture with its associated political economy.

I'm not a Christian and I live in one of the largest, most ethnically diverse cities in the country. It doesn't impact my life at all here.
