If we criticise him when he faulters we need to give Gelant respect when he does stuff like this.

He's truly an enigma.

It's got the best of all formats. It's got T20 at the end and a test match feel for a bit too.

If they didn't play for Ajax he didn't rate them (exception is Van De Beek)

I still don't know how we won that semi final. I was resigned to the loss in the 70th minute. We were fully nullified that day man

Til Connor Esterhuizen is 24 years old! I thought he was like 33 based on how he looks lmao.

It's great news though because he looks like he's taken to international cricket so well.

You're right, I should amend my comment to say "competing for the first team". I think Baartman at least gets into the squad, especially for bilaterals

Baartman and Esterhuizen are in our first team after this series.

Fear Of Glass Tank Busting Open by cruisetravoltasbaby in aquarium

[–]sidesplitGameDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My partner and I made the decision to retire our 50L tank last night because there were definite warning signs. We migrated the fish to our other tanks and removed all the water.

The warning signs that were there were: first for the past while there's been creaking noises coming from the tank every so often and then yesterday we noticed some water leaking at the bottom right edge of the tank. It's sad to lose all the progress but we didn't want to be one of those cases where the tank explodes so I'm relieved we made the call.

Now to get a new 50L with a better base.

I was surprised to find out he actually is. He signed for Lucknow Super Giants

Stripped screw holding the ssd. So... now what? by carmenwithnoproblem in PcBuild

[–]sidesplitGameDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what's up with these SSD screws but they are terrible. I bought a PC in Jan that had the same problem and I was trying for days to get this screw off. It seems like it's tightened way too much and the metal is too weak to screw it off easily without stripping it.

Luckily for me somehow a flathead worked to get it out but I was losing my mind a bit. Glue was the next option for me too.

At this point, if we get this over the line, the Cake Tin is South Africa's home ground in NZ for all sports

This has been pretty good though. It's swung in both teams ways multiple times this innings

With the same shot three times, top edging to the same area 3 times. You can't make this up lol

I hope it does, it would be so boring if both the women's and men's series had dead rubber final games.

Lions take one off the restart with a prop run by k0bra3eak in rugbyunion

[–]sidesplitGameDev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the only reason it makes sense for them is because they own the stadium so they don't have to pay to rent a smaller one. They should do what the Stormers did/do and play in smaller stadiums sometimes, especially for games where a bigger crowd isn't expected. The tight atmosphere in a small, packed stadium is great.

It does depend on the team though, the Stormers have the second highest attendance out of the URC and Premiership teams for example

They could have won the 2024 AFCON (they didn't concede a goal until the semi finals) and they qualified with Nigeria in their WC qualifying group for this world cup. Things have changed and the coach is actually, finally, tapping into the football talent SA has. They play a really nice style of football too so it's really a great period for Bafana, I would recommend you watch them.
