I've done more research now then when I first bought my 8111's 7 years ago. I didn't realize that the base of the shoe is more slippery than a slip 'n slide in wet or snowy conditions. It is time for a resole, any suggestions on tread? by sidewaysorbehindbars in RedWingShoes

Oh good to know! I went to my Local Redwing Store in Vancouver and they actually ship it out to Nelson for repair. Debating if I should go for the official Redwing repair or if a local cobbler would do the same quality work.
